Sunflower

In hope, I find the caress of a different lover

I hope he wears your name, I hope he wears your face

I hope he dallies not and loves a lot

And wearies the sheets you’ve abandoned

I hope he’s grown towards the light

And turned away from the fears of his darkest night

He planted a seed, I hope you’ll be the flower

Come home to me, and we’ll share this bed we made
